“Clear Cache” button

Some Plug-ins have a “Cache” function that accelerates the process of fetching information from the Internet. This function also reduces network traffic.

It stores data called cache on the web server. The cache is generally the latest data; however, it is sometimes old if a user prefers to configure it.

Click on “Clear Cache” button to update the cache to the latest data by force. It comes to effect after reloading the page.
Plug-in template

The template could be any HTML that includes [[plugin]]. First, the Plug-in replaces [[plugin]] with the generated contents. The contents imply, for example, TagCloud or PageList in a website. Next, the Plug-in replaces all the contents in the sprite with the template.

Some Plug-ins ignore the Plug-in template. Take care to check whether the template is available or not.
Input “plugin name,” “plugin options,” “plugin template,” and click on “OK” button to save them.

The Plug-in effects after saving the sprite and reloading the page.
How to set Plug-ins?
  • A plug-in is attached with a sprite. It needs Permission Lv4 (Allow Super Sprite).
  • The “Plugin” button appears on the control panel after selecting a sprite in EditMode. Click on the button to open the Plug-in dialog.

PositLog can create the content of the sprite dynamically by using Plug-ins. For example, a sprite shows the up-to-date contents by importing the entries or RSS feeds of a blog. Besides, many useful Plug-ins for arranging contents are provided, such as TagCloud, PageList, and RecentContents.

This page explains the general information for configuring and using Plug-ins.
